About the Weekend.

Now in its 16th year, Accessibility Weekend sees attractions open their doors for FREE to people with a physical disability who use a wheelchair or mobility aid, along with their carer.

Access can have a huge impact on inclusion and participation for people living with a physical disability. Accessibility Weekend aims to highlight the importance of accessible communities and celebrates attractions who have made a commitment to providing access to people with physical disabilities.

Accessibility Weekend is a celebration of the importance of community access and inclusion. With many venues participating, Accessibility Weekend is great opportunity for people who use a wheelchair or mobility aid to enjoy local attractions for FREE!

• Check if your desired venue requires registration - you can register your interest by giving them a quick call or sending an email with "Accessibility Weekend 2021" as the subject.
